NextAuth.js is a framework that aims to make authentication with Next.js a (relatively) simple and painless process. Azure AD B2C (also referred to here as Azure B2C) is an identity & access management solution specifically for customer facing applications. Please note that Azure AD B2C is not the same thing as Azure AD. Azure AD B2C is many things but straight-forward is not one of them at least as far as I have found.
